Dean Martin – Mambo Italiano
Dean Martin – Memories Are Made of This
Eva Cassidy – Wade in the Water
George Harrison – The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea
James Hill – Because
Johnny Cash – Wayfaring Stranger

Beginner Ukulele Songs

These are particularly good easy first songs for beginner ukulele players:

Blue Moon (Verses Only)
Amazing Grace
You Are My Sunshine
Dion & The Belmonts – Teenager in Love (in C)
Ben E King – Stand By Me (in C)

Guitar Chords

These songs were transcribed for guitar, but can be played on ukulele too. For uke, if there’s a slash chord just play the note before the slash (e.g. for Fm/Ab ignore the Ab and just play Fm). Slash chords tell you which bass note to play, and most ukuleles don’t have bass notes!

Beautiful South – Bell-Bottomed Tear
Ben E King – Stand By Me (in G)
Elliot Smith – Bottle Up & Explode
Engelbert Humperdink – Love Will Set You Free
George Ezra – Blame It On Me
Gillian Welch – Dark Turn of Mind
Glenn Campbell – Wichita Lineman
Hot Club of Cowtown – Emily
Hot Club of Cowtown – I Can’t Tame Wild Women
Hot Club of Cowtown – She’s Killing Me
Jill Scott – He Loves Me
John Newman – Cheating
Laura Veirs – Magnetized
Lianne La Havas – Age
Lianne La Havas – No Room For Doubt
Lucy Rose – Night Bus
Nickel Creek – When You Come Back Down
Otis Redding – (Sitting On) The Dock Of The Bay
Paul Simon – Slip Slidin’ Away
Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here
The Police – Every Breath You Take
Simon & Garfunkel – I Am A Rock
Tammy Wynette – Stand By Your Man
Valerie June – Twined & Twisted
